Feminism's Cultural Roots are Showing
Here is a very large group of "feminists" who blocked an entire freeway with their motorcycles. Then, one of these "feminists" got down on his knee to a woman, in a ritual moment. (An entirely feminist-approved action, as I can assure you.)
As I have explained many a time, and will continue to do, feminism is a phenomenon rooted in the entire culture from one end to the other. Yes, I mean ALL of it -- left, right, north, south, you name it. Feminism is a social organism that can only be understood holistically.
Oh by the way, creating smokescreens is also classic feminist behavior!

I don't understand how this relates to feminism. Perhaps it's about being a large group and that large groups have power? Or did I miss something? :)
Well, let's think. A man is getting down on his knee to a woman.
What COULD that have to do with feminism...eh?
Those were not bikers, those were motorcycle riders. Most bikers I know wouldn't be caught dead riding the kind of bikes that pack was riding.
And I'm never going to buy another motorcycle from a t-shirt company again.
There's nothing "feminist" about a traditional marriage proposal. The man gets on his knee in an ironic game of pretending to bow to his beloved, as he urges her to abandon her own name, identity, and goals, and become his property and devote herself to his needs and desires. Yeah, that's super feminist.
Nothing "feminist" about getting down on your knee in order to submit yourself to the anti-male marriage regime, and mobilizing 60 or so people to create a major public nuisance on the occasion of so doing, and all with a woman perched on a pedestal at center stage?
Nothing gynocentric about that?
In other words, nothing feminist about that?
Of course, if you blow a big smokescreen I reckon nobody will see what happened.

This issue has been going on from the beginning of feminsm's strength in the 1970s.
Girls would be cheered when they were better than a boy at something, yet when they fell or did harm, the boys were scolded for not protecting the girls.
This has never stopped and it should because later generations of girls (many now women) just expect to be taken care of by men as a norm of society without any understanding that men are not robots and made of steel.
This in turn has shifted women into power and men into submission.

I think the rejection of NOT getting on a knee to propose to a woman needs to go mainstream. Way it is now, even a non predatory woman will feel slighted if the guy does not do that... or will she... maybe that could be posited as a final test of character if she balks at the non obsequious proposal, think seriously about moving on, guy.

Marriage is just as likely to be an institution of slavery and self-denial for a man as it is a woman, if not more so, not only because society condones and urges that, but because so many of you, nowadays, think study of your navel is university course and failure to cater to your most childish self is abuse. It will certainly best if you never attach yourself to a man. For him anyway.

If you are a feminist, the correct protocol is to declare yourself initially, and state your business.
Trust me, the whole thing was fake. The bikers where paid to perform the fuddy duddy and stereotypical marriage proposal.
